ACRS' licensed engineering staff provides a wide variety of engineering services for its clients, ranging from turn-key telecommunications projects to performing specific engineering activities on a stand-alone basis. ACRS' Outside Plant Department has the experience and expertise to fulfill a wide range of OSP requirements including:

Outside Plant Layouts for use in Rural Utilities Service loan applications or as a basis for a business case or feasibility studies

Staking and Design Services including preparation of plans and specifications for competitive bidding or negotiated contracts

Competitive Bidding through ACRS' knowledge and familiarity with the numerous construction firms through out the continental U.S. Engineering estimates are provided well in advance to satisfy budgeting and funding requirements.

Construction Management from the initial preconstruction conference to the daily inspection activities including as-built records and inventory control to the final closeout and final ride, ACRS provides construction management services to ensure you receive a quality product while monitoring the progress through Critical-Path-Method (CPM)/Project Evaluation & Review Technique (PERT) techniques to help you maintain your timeline while staying within budget.

Computer Aided Drafting and Design is utilized in virtually every aspect of engineering through a team of highly qualified and experienced engineers and draftsmen. ACRS is also experienced with Geographic Information Systems, GIS, and Global Positioning Systems, GPS, and has the knowledge to incorporate such advanced technologies into their design and final products.

ACRS has extensive experience with all areas of outside plant facilities including twisted pair copper cable, fiber optics including Fiber-to-the-Home solutions, Carrier Serving Area designs and Hybrid Fiber Coax networks. With today's competitive market and deregulation considerations, ACRS can assist you with a design custom fitted for your application. With ACRS' Cost Study department housed under the same roof as the engineering department, you will receive not only a quality product from a technical standpoint but a design that will maximize your returns through the various state and federal cost recovery mechanisms. All of ACRS' work is performed under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer and will adhere to the appropriate RUS, Telcordia and EIA/TIA standards.
